ADMISSION NOTICE FOR CLASS 1 (ACADEMIC SESSION: 2024-2025)

GENERAL POLICY

1. Our Lady of the Snows School, Dhalpur is a Private, Unaided, Christian Minority Co-ed. Institution, owned by the Simla-Chandigarh Educational Society.


2. Admission procedures are conducted by the Principal. No other persons in the school or outside have any hand in the admission of candidates for admission in the school.


3. No donations are accepted for admissions.


4. The school authorities will not meet anyone regarding admission except on days announced. All information available can be obtained from the school Notice-boards or school office or school website. No phone calls are entertained on this matter.


5. Recommendations are not appreciated, and can be detrimental to admission. Similarly, any attempt at seeking admission through dubious means, if discovered at any stage, will result in the cancellation of the admission.

PROCEDURE FOR ADMISSION TO Class 1.

1. The Registration forms for seeking admission in Class 1 at Our Lady of the Snows School, Kullu will be made available online on our school website (www.olskullu.com) from Wednesday, 8th November, 2023 to Monday 20th November, 2023.


2. The last date to submit the Registration form after duly filling in all the details is on Monday, i.e., 20th November, 2023. Along with the form you will require to upload the child’s Birth Certificate, Child’s Aadhaar Card, passport size photograph and Family Photograph (4x6) Post Card Size.


3. Age Requirements For Admissions :
   The child to be admitted in Class 1 should have completed 6 years as on 1st March, 2024.


4. Interaction Meetings
   All the Parents of the applicants shall be invited for an interaction with the Principal along with the candidate for the admission. Parents are requested not to pressurize the child, coaching him/her for the admission. The dates for the interaction will be as follow:



16th November, 2023 to 25th November 2023 - From 11.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. or as intimated by the school office.

5. Requirements on the day of Interaction
   1. Bio Data Form duly filled in with a Passport-size photograph affixed on the form.
   
   
   2. Please produce the Birth Certificate issued by the Municipal Council and should beattested.
   
   
   3. Name and the date of birth will be accepted as recorded in the certificate issued by the competent authority and no subsequent changes will be entertained.
   
   
   4. A recent photograph of the Family (postcard size: 4/6) and proof of Residential Address are to be submitted.
   
   
   5. Medical certificate of health and Blood Group of the child to be admitted should be obtained on the form provided
6. Registration of Names:
   After the interaction both the parents of the child will need to come on the dates specified for completing the admission formalities (Collect the Admission Form and duly fill it up, sign the declaration form by parents, pay the fees, sign in the admission register, collect the Admit card etc).

7. Days of Admission for selected candidates for Class 1 for Academic Session: 2024-2025
   On Tuesday 28th November, 2023 to Saturday 2nd December, 2023 from 11.00 a.m to 2.00 p.m. as per the intimation.

The Admission Fees has to be paid online through the olsschool app in the school office.
